Before:
- an library that the owner
wanted to become a more feminine office
After:
- Cool colors, clean lines,
and simple art make a lighter, more airy space.
What was done to make this a
workable space?
- Lime color on the walls
made space seem more up to date
- White desk was centered in
middle of room, keeping any corners from taking on a
“heavy” look
- Roman shades are perfect
if you are looking to keep a window from being
fussy.
- A tall pedestal is a great
way to show art and add height to low walls
- Flowers add a pop of
color. This is essential if you are using allot of
light colors. There needs to be some grounding of
the space.

Before:
- Disorganized office space
After:
- All of customers storage
and computer accessories organized into one space
What was done to make this a
workable space?
- Area cleaned out and painted
- Shelves were placed opposite each other to
provide balance.
- Upper shelves were used for eye catching storage
- Computer was placed in center for easy access
|
 |
- One note, I would have encouraged this client to
paint all shelves the same creamy beige to tie in
the various sizes. Since this is going to be covered
most of the time with floor to ceiling drapes, it
wasn’t necessary.
